Final Schedules Available

Hello everyone.

The final class schedules, with all the teachers and helpers, are available to view. Go to “About” page, and click on “Schedules” at the bottom. You can view just the Elementary Schedule, or the Horizon Academy Schedule, or the Full Schedule. Thanks to everyone for attending the meeting and making it possible for us to finalize the details.

Our first meeting is Friday, September 2nd. Each teacher should send out the September Monthly Assignment Sheet by Monday, August 29th. Even if they are not assigning work that week before our first meeting, they should still make the September assignment sheet available by that date.

There are also a few changes and updates on the “Costs” page.

New course descriptions

Welcome to all the new families. There are a few more course descriptions and book lists available. Go to the “About” page and click on “Course Descriptions” down below. We will also be updating the schedule – not changing the times but just adding a few more afternoon classes. Also please note the minor changes to the American Literature book list.

Horizon Academy Class Sign-Ups

The class sign-ups for the Horizon Academy classes are now available. Click on the “Class Sign Ups” tab.

July 1 is the deadline for the Newcomer’s Application. If you are interested in joining but haven’t sent it yet, please find the application at the bottom of the “About” page.

The deadline for the class sign ups is July 15th.

We aren’t doing a sign up page for the K-6 classes, as there is no choice in those classes. If a family is participating in the morning co-op hours, their children will be in the assigned classes.

I apologize for the misprint on the Newcomer’s Application. The deadline is July 1, not June 1.

The class schedules and new information page are now available. Click on the “About” tab, scroll down and click on the appropriate page. Schedules are still subject to minor changes.

Book lists and course descriptions will be available by Friday, June 17.

Updates

The class schedules for the 2011/2012 school year will be posted here by Monday, June 13th. There will be two schedules: one for grades K-6, and one for grades 7-12.

There will also be updated Guidelines & Rules available on June 13th.

The book lists for the Horizon Academy classes will be available by June 17, and for the K-6 classes by July 1.

We will have on-line class sign-ups available June 17 – July 15.

For newcomers, the application deadline is July 1st.

Newcomer’s Meeting Reminder

We are having our newcomer’s meeting Tuesday, May 17 at 7 pm at Horizon Central. We are located at 1001 E. Palmer St., Indianapolis, 46203 – in the Fountain Square area. All are welcome.

Newcomers Informational Meeting

School Year Approaches

Summer is fleeting away, and the school year fast approaching. Our first co-op meeting is Friday, September 3rd at 9 AM.

Please note the updated costs for the Spanish classes, as well as the new sign-ups for “First Form Latin” and “Movies as Literature”.

The schedule is temporarily undergoing revision, and will include the room assignments once it is completed.

Enjoy these last few days and weeks of summer.
